GT Programming at Moore

Light Bulb

Moore prides itself on its diverse curriculum for ALP students and its flexible approach to all ALP students. Individual needs should be brought to the attention of the staff listed on the webpage. All students on ALP's at Moore receive the following supports / opportunities:

-During Mustang Minutes / Advisement, students will set goals for ALP's (in alignment with state law), work on passion projects and independent study projects, and receive any additional tutoring needed for advanced coursework.

-Advisement students also learn about social/emotional topics as they relate specifically to gifted students that can be explored such as: perfectionism, additional anxiety/energy/stress, and disengagement.

-Students can opt to participate in specialized field trips, films, workshop, and guest speaker events to enrich what they are learning in class and to drive their inquiry.

-GT Staff works as liaisons between students, families and teachers to help advocate for students' needs.

Please feel free to contact us any time regarding questions with programming or events.
