As an alumni of Metropolitan State University and University of Denver, I have dedicated my entire career to middle school education., I have taught math, science, communications, and robotics to all three grades. I joined Moore as an Assistant Principal in 2014 before becoming the principal in 2016. I believe that all students can succeed with the right support and guidance. School culture, academic discourse, teacher planning, and data analysis are our major improvement strategies this year and I look forward to seeing the positive changes that will come from these strategies. I hope to meet all of you at a Family Dinner (8/25/22, 10/25/22, 12/15/22, 1/19/23, and 3/14/22), Family Teacher Conferences (10/13/22, 10/20/22, and 2/16/22), a musical concert or play, or even in the parking lot at the end of the day. Your students inspire me every day and our staff works so hard to meet the individual needs of them. Always feel free to reach out with questions, concerns or suggestions.

Prior
to coming to Moore, I was the Dean of Students and taught Social

I am excited to be a part the Moore

students, and community to create positive relationships and to achieve
high, school-wide academic goals for life-long learning.
Craig Harris - Assistant Principal

I started my educational career in Montbello, Colorado teaching high school chemistry and physics over the last five years. I went to Briar Cliff University in Sioux, IA where I pitched on varsity for four years while obtaining my Bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Secondary Education. I completed my principal licensure program and Master’s degree through the University of Colorado Denver. I have been an Assistant Principal at Moore since 2020.
I’m also a Captain in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and currently serve as the Executive Officer for an artillery battery. I have a passion for baseball and anything related to Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Marvel. I enjoy spending time with my wife and dog (Darth) outside of school hours.
I believe learning is a never-ending process. I intend to use my leadership experiences in education and the military to contribute to building an ideal educational community and culture to prepare our Mustangs to succeed in a continuously changing world.
